Hiya
Ive booked a stay at Blackpool South Shore Travelodge hotel & noted that you are charged for using the car park. Has anyone reading stayed here recently and remember how much the charges were?
Would like to know how much we will need to put aside for this.
Also Ive booked to have breakfast at the cafe bar - Anyone any experience of eating there & would like to share their experience.
Hope someone can help.
Thanks in advance

I haven't stayed at the Blackpool Travelodge, but have stayed at other ones and breakfast seems to be the same in all I have stayed in. There is usually a help yourself cooked breakfast buffet with bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, tinned mushrooms, tomatoes and beans. There are small cereal packets with milk, yogurts, fruit segments, muffins and other bakery products. They also usually have a toaster with brown, white bread, jams, butter etc, apple and orange juices and tea and coffee. We have found that they constantly replace the hot items. The only minor complaint in my experience would be the wait for the toaster.

Im almost certain we paid £5 a night parking. The breakfasts are just help yourself to whatever you want. They had loads of cereals to choose from, fruit, sausage, bacon, toms, beans, mushrooms etc but they only did scrambled egg. They also had muffin type cakes. You make your own toast. There was probs other things but I cant remember what else we had.

Basically keep going back to the counter and make sure you fill up for the day. The thing I didnt like was the bacon because I think they microwave it and it wasnt nice n crispy.

We can confirm the carpark only costs £5 per night. We stayed here and really enjoyed it, friendly staff and clean rooms. Hope you have a nice time.

There is a car park that adjoins the Travelodge its coins only and £9 for 24 hours.
Ther are a few roads nearby that you can park free but at this time of year difficult to get a space.
We stayed there last week. Its the newish sort with no cupboard space just a few hangers from a rail.
Family room was quite small but for £9 a night you get what you pay for.

    PS

Sorry got the wrong one I was talking about South Promenade!
