good all purpose drill £50-£100?

Hi, I'm going to be doing a fair few diy jobs in the near future and probably more in the long term as well so am looking to invest in a decent drill.

I have one that cost about £14.99 from somewhere, but always feel it is well underpowered and the batteries seem to have a short life.

Any recommendations or links?

thanks :)

Well what sort of DIY jobs have you got planned? Smaller stuff where a cordless drill will suffice or will you be drilling into/through masonry walls when you'll want a percussion/hammer drill or even a rotary hammer drill/SDS?

The Ryobi in the link is a very good drill for the money. They are classed as semi pro. I'm a tradesman and prefer Makita, but a tradesman friend of mine has been using a Ryobi 18v cordless for a couple of years now. He's quite abusive to his tools and the drill has been beaten to death and still works fine. For what you want I'd go for the one in the link, should last you years.....;)
Happiness, is a Kebab called Doner.....:heart2::heart2:
