it will hit you in about a weeks time ,when all the money you usually send to different people is still sitting in your account,,,
i remember a certain person who won the lotto and had 6k left after all the debts were gone ,,,,, took me longer to decide what to do with the 6k than anything else,,,
brilliant news and you do so deserve it:T:T:T:T:T:beer:

Taxi.
I've been lurking right thoroughout the last few pages. you, as a lovely, caring individual have offered me words of comfort, words of advice and a fair amount of straight talking over the last 3 years since i joined the site. I am over the moon to finally see you debt free and for some allowances to be made for treats such as the camera, takeaway holiday etc. But. i would, at any price, pay anything to see this have happened under different circumstances. I really and truly hope that your debt freedom is the silver lining to the cloud of the last few years and that life is kind to you from here on. You thoroughly deserve this moment. savour it, enjoy it, love each letter as it drops through your door confirming another debt is gone and then move forward in life with positivity hope, love and enjoyment. For you, I wish absolutely nothing greater.
Lots of hugs.

Pania - I know I don't know you, but just wanted to say the post, its the most heartfelt post, and I will admit to having a tear or 2, you sound just like taxi, one in a million xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Shaun..never knew that was the way you cleared your debt..well done...
The spare money is going to sit there until I have enough to clear the mortgage.
DH wants to use normal earnings for holidays and extras...
Hope you lot aren't going to throw me off here now into the jaws of the mortgage free board..lol0 -
Taxi - You are truly one in a million, and u have a wonderful family, you have been so supportive to everyone, and if anyone deserved a debt free life that would b u and Mr Taxi.
You are both wonderful people, we had the cso up this afternoon to see how we all were (short visit - only 2 hrs!!) and how I do not know, but u and JJ cropped up in conversation, dd she came out with "I wonder if JJ is still wearing his shower-cap, I don't do baths, I must have showers......"
We've got to have the bath taken out and a carers type shower, right saga, as they may have to knock the loo and bathroom into one, move the loo around, right saga.... were due Dec, but were trying to convert dd to showers, but her excuse was she'd have showers on holiday as caravans don't have baths........ but must have a bath at home, got the push on shower for the taps, (really meant for bathing Bailey), now there the best thing since buttered bread....
She sits in the bath... she shouted me to turn the water off, she only got a leapord print shower cap, (Bet Lynch cast off).
I have finally came to the conclusion I'm a soft touch, Bailey hasn't been eating his food for the last couple of days, whether it was heat or not don't know, so 2ngt, thought if I spoon fed him a piece he'll eat the rest, theres me sat in his corner, spoon fed him the 1st piece, he came and sat by me and pawed my hand and pushed it to the bowl as if to say carry on...... I was daft enough to do it!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Mum2one..you are so close to that target now...well done0
