Back from work and have been fed and watered.I'm pleased to say it was really busy today and am hoping it carries on all weekend.
Am also pleased to say that I managed to pay the halifax card payments before the statement was due to be printed ..it was done yesterday and all payments had hit the account so no interest to pay as it was due to start on thisstatement...lol.
Am just going to chill tonight and I think a nice long soak in the bath is in order.

I also got my coach tickets today for my jollies in July.

Hi all,
Had a good day at work it was busy again..and was in a good mood until
Having to phone Amex because I had an e-mail thanking me for the payment I hadn't made!!!
I then checked their site to find it said I owed nothing.
So,I phoned them and they didn't have a clue what I was on about..she said I owe £720.99..yes I know that but the site doesn't know that so I can't pay as it would put me in credit....ahhhhhhhh!!!......Eventually she understood and took the card payment(it's not due until the 21st march)..LOLthanked me for paying and then told me how good I'd paid over the last 2 years....promptly followed by the fact that they'd reviewed my usage of the card and my average spend so had reduced the card from £5500 to £900 !!!!!!..great way to value a customer.
I told her no worries as the card is getting cancelled on the 24th March anyway as that is my anniversary date and they owe me £59.62 cashback.
They used to be a fantastic card but get more like the others every day even using an 0845 number now.
So my payment today was £720.99...so another card wiped out.

well done for the card payment, can't believe they would just review your useage and cut your limit like that.

I thought it was really bad of them but no problem anyway as I was getting rid of them anyway this month.Would have been completely different if I wasn't getting rid.Have had that card and paid them in full every month for 2 years.I seriously think that they are in dire straights and we'll see them soon in the news...let's wait and see.
I was paying them anyway..I cancelled the DD because if you pay in full they collect it 11 days before it is due!!!!
DD due the 10th pay any other way payment due 21st ....lol
So 3 cards have bitten the dust this week...thankfully.
I wouldn't like to think how these companies treat customers that are late with or miss payments....I've never missed a payment or been late with a payment in my life or had a bank charge.
Just 3 cards left now....1 for me and 2 for DH.
I only ever want finance in future for car loans and nothing else and if possible I'd like to have the cash to pay for the next taxi.
