    Thanks all...
Welcome Claire...nice to see you here.
Hi Mum2one and Penguin...I seriously can't wait for it all to go...it's hard to imagine what we were spending money on before.

DD for Halifax CC came out today so another £47.48 off the debt.
Went to work and it was quietish but anything is better than nothing.
Had to get dog food today and that has gone up £3 a bag and also had to fill the car and that's about it.
I can't see me making my target of paying the card off by the end of the month but will keep trying.

That's a tough target to reach by the end of the month Taxi - keep your targets achievable though - better to surprise yourself and pay things more quickly rather than miss out and feel deflated. I'm impressed whether you reach it or not with what you have achieved.

Blimey, that *is* a big target, Taxi - mind you, even in the last couple of weeks, you've been lobbing the odd *thousand* at the debt - its like Hypno said with the bingo, you're a dark horse!

I'd like to think that I can do it by the end of the month but you're right Milann better to set lower targets so I'm not deflated...it's the thought about paying interest which was making me try to pay it off but it won't be much anyway I guess.
So will aim for the end of next month at the latest.

Hi all..hope you're all ok today.
Couldn't sleep last night so was just mooching around here.
It was my day off today and I've just been chilling and pottering about.
DH made a nice tea and bought cream cakes and a bottle of wine for me as a treat as it's my birthday tomorrow. So am chilling with wine now...lol
DD2 is taking me to town tomorrow and we are going to have subway as we've fancied it for weeks..her treat.
DH offered to take me out tonight but I didn't fancy it.DS and DH have nipped to the club for a game of snooker and I'm going to have a nice long soak in the bath with a nice glass of wine..heaven.
