Faulty Washing Machine

Bought an Indesit WIB111 washing machine in December 2008 it has broken down 4 times in 8mths. I bought it from Makro and although it is still under guarantee, assume this machine will continue breaking down after the guarantee ends. Would like a replacement or refund, Makro said its Indesits problem not theirs!!! Indesit say they do not replace and will just keep repairing whilst in the 12 month warranty period. So what now?

Makro are wrong. It is everything to do with them.
You bought the machine from Makro, your contract is with them. They have failed to provide goods of merchantable quality.

Makro are a business to business wholesaler and as such are correct in what they are saying, they do not come under SoGA.


See this Makro thread, there are lots of opinions on there, but it is mine that you will not have rights against Makro, and if the OP is a "personal" shopper and attempts any legal remedies against Makro, then expect their card to be withdrawn!
