Warrant of Execution issued against former employer - advice needed pls!

Hello,
After the company I worked for ceased trading and everybody was made redundant, I have been awarded a default judgement by an employment tribunal for the sum of £2,500 owed to me by my former employer. The award is made against the MD of the company (it as a very small company with only 4 employees) who still hasn't paid so I contacted the county Court who issued him with a CCJ and he still hasn't paid! Mt next action has been to issue a Warrant of Execution which will see bailiffs visit him at his home address - I doubt very much they will be successful as he lives in rented, shared accommodation so can say items are not his. The company is a public limited company and is still listed on the Companies House website. What should I do next to retrieve the money owed to me? Any help and advice would be much appreciated! Thanks. Lucy

Do you mean it is a private company?
A public limited company is quoted on the Stock Market and a CCJ for such an insignificant amount would cause major problems.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

Was this for redundancy money?
In my situation, my former boss didnt pay all that was owing to me, so I went to an employment tribunal and was awarded a judgement in my favour.
After that, I sent a copy of the judgement together with a RP1 form in and on Saturday was told by the Insolvency Agency that they have written to my former boss telling up to pay up in 14days if not they will pay me and will then chase him for the money.
As far as I know, he wasnt declared insolvent, just shut up shop and disappeared.0
