slow mouse,,,,fast cat!! beat you to it!!!

hello teckie folk
got my self a really expensive wireless mouse(argos value range :o)

all was great for about 3 months,,,,now its gone and thrown a wobbly
1st problem....
when you left click seem to take 3 or 4 goes to work ,,,mainly in mse dairy's
1) ive put in new batteries
2) ive cleaned the table top and mouse

2nd problem,,,,
moving the mouse pointer?? around on screen very slow and sometime wonder,s off

the area where i use the mouse is very smooth now ...could this be a factor,,,since most mouse pads tend to be uneven
3rd problem,,,,
Also today whilst typing in the dairies it keep writing in capitals even though i dident press cap locks
4th problem,,,,
and why im here is their a good dictionary that works with windows,,,,im carp at spelling and the windows one give some peculiar choices

and thankyou:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ok the first 3 issues might be down to the mouse and keyboard maybe not being synched to the receiver

Or as david says it could be the mouse just being cheap, ive got the logitech 1 which david linked to and its a good mouse and keyboard, and ive not had to change the batteries yet, ive also got a wireless mouse and keyboard from lidl of the silvercrest range and its still working fine,

cheap mice and keyboards are like cheap coffee..they might be what they say...but use some decent kit and you'll soon see the difference.
(using logitech mouse + microsoft keyboard, both wired)

Hope your mouse is sorted - ironically, my mouse is playing up too. Guess I'm learning about the difference between moneysaving and false economies. wink.gif Take care all.sLo_hug2.gif
