Shall I book or wait?

I went on-line yesterday to book a couple of flights. The dates I wanted came in at a good price, but I had a shocking headache so thought I'd book a bit later, but not till after I'd checked it about 1/2 a dozen times, going back and forth between flight sites.
Another site had flights the same price but a couple of days later (mid week so not as convient).
This morning I've gone back to the one I wanted and its gone up in price by £100 (on 2 tickets = £50 each). The other site however has gone down by £40, so by £20 each.
I'm wondering now if I should book at the higher price (the one I wanted in the 1st place) or wait a day or two, to see if its drops again.
The flights were for 13th May.
What's your experience? Help please.

IMHE when I click back to the site that had the cheapest fare the price seems to have doubled in the time it takes for the page to refresh!
I now use the price check thing on this site and then check against rhinoair (ryanair) or sleazyjet (big orange aeroplane) fares before commiting myself to anything. still managing to miss out though!just in case you need to know:

Not sure which airline you were trying but have you thought about WWW.WIZZAIR.COM , they go to Bourgas and Sofia . Also check out BA flights they have allegedly done some cost cutting on fares, so might be reasonable.0

Try late at night or early morning to check flight prices.
I had the same thing with BA earlier in the week. First was £199 then £198 then £225 then £215. Ended up getting it at £215.0 -
I need a direct to Varna. I hate mucking about with the connection from Sofia. I didn't know they were going to Bourgas yet, will check that out, thanks.
It was BA that my flights shot up on! Since they announced they put their prices down, my flights have all gone up!!!

No, just checked Swizzair and they are quite a bit more expensive, plus I'd still need to get up North of the coast.
Thanks anyhow.
