I purchased 2 tickets on BMI Baby's website last night but have made a mistake. I already have the confirmation email from them, and have spoken to my bank and it is too late to cancel the payment which will go out in the morning. Is there anything I can do?

I have checked their FAQ's but they charge a ridiculous amount of money to make any changes - wondered if there was any sort of get out clause I didn't know about.0

It may depend on what the mistake actually is.
Have you just mis-spelled your name?
Have you booked a flight in a name that doesn't appear on the passport?
Have you booked the wrong date?
Have you booked the wrong route?
If it's the first 2, they MAY be kind and allow you to change for a smaller fee - but they are not obliged to.
As far as I'm aware there isn't a get-out clause.0
