Brabantia Bins.

I bought a touch opening bin from argos about 18 months ago....and at the time I thought what a "waste" of money when I could have bought one much cheaper.
This week it broke and I thought that would be the end of that. It was my own fault I pushed it too hard...oops
Phoned customer service...a new one should arive in 30days at no cost....I know I have not received it yet but what a fantastic service...no receipt just a very pleasant man.....Happy New Year to them....sometimes its worth paying a bit more .

Just to add to this I was looking for a replacement bin lid on ebay and came across a seller claiming to sell them. when I looked closer he was actually selling the phone number for presumably the brabantia customer service for £8......what a con..

Although Brabantia bins are expensive I bought one because they have a 15 year guarantee which compared to cheaper bins I considered to be better value for money in the long term, nice to see I am right :-)

Just wanted to add that I and a few friends have these bins and at some time had to replace lids - just emailed brabantia and they sent new lids within a couple of weeks at no charge.

    Fantastic service

Not about a bin, but still great service from Brabantia: Last year, I bought one of their large rotary dryers. Couldn't find any local shop that was also selling a cover for the dryer, so I called their customer services and asked whether they can suggest where I can get one. They offered to send me a free one, and I was delivered next morning! I was more than mildly impressed.
