What electric cables are needed?

At present, a cable runs from the shaver point in the bathroom to the main bathroom ceiling light.
As the bathroom is being refurbed I will be wanting a new shaver point (probably inside a wall unit) and either a lit mirror or a plain mirror with a separate light.
I wont be wiring it all up, I'll get the electrician to do that but I can run whatever wire is needed now, whilst the walls and ceiling are down.
So if the existing shaver point cable is used for the new shaver point, what's needed for the light/mirror with light? Can it work off the same cable somehow or does another cable need run from lit mirror to....(?)...centre light again?

This won't help with your cabling now but if I remember correctly you are putting in several downlighters instead of the one central light? I had one central light and now have six downlighters and its like Blackpool Illuminations in the bathroom now and I'm glad I didn't bother with the "Hollywood" style lit up mirror that my teenage daughter yearned for

Both the shaver socket and wall lighting will need to come of the lighting ring main
Both normally require a 5 amp supplyHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0
