I have had my pc for about 18 months and am usuing Windows Vista Basic.
I have bought some new software but when I put the discs in nothing happens. To check it I have tried other things, DVDs and CDs, but nothing works.
I have done a maintenace check and nothing seems to be wrong. I have never run any software or DVDs etc on this computer before. Is there a prgramme I need to activate or something?
Help please

Hi Blackpool, where do I find 'my computer' on my old pc it was on the desktop but not on this one!!!!!!

it should be within the start menu, on the left hand side (Computer)
If you cant find it then click in the search box at teh bottom of the start menu and click computer.
Once in, double click on the cd/dvd drive and it should run the setup. If not then right click on the drive and go to explore, This should open the contents on the CD/DVD and you are looking for setup.exe, double click and off you go.0 -
Thanks Tom will try that.:beer::smileyheaMagenta0
