I ordered mine back in September and they have taken the money from my account. Not heard from them nor had a refund. Shall I call for a refund or sit tight and see if I receive my 7 stuffed friends?0

hi all
an update on my dwarves. after reading about all the problems i doubted very much whether i would get any more - but - i did! After their site said invalid when I tried to order some more, i received an email the following day inviting me to try again. i did and thought i wouldn't get them after reading others difficulties. Well - they came two days ago. No questions asked about sending receipts. I guess I must be one of the lucky ones. I also got the two that i asked for. I don't think i will push my luck any more though.0 -

I sent for all seven dwarves between 14th and 15th September to be delivered to my brother's house. The money was taken from my account the same days that I ordered them. We did buy some disney princess items on 13th September.
They sent me the dreaded e-mail on 22nd September requesting proof of purchases. I replied with scanned copies of receipts for three items and explained that my brother was initially going to send for them by post I offered to appliy online for him as it would probably be quicker. Their postal form did not mention anything about receipts maybe being requested at a later date .
As the items were for my twin nieces birthdays, they had by then been opened and played with and as the company had taken the money from my account I had presumed the transactions had been successful so we seen no reason to keep the receipts and they were disposed of along with the boxes, wrappings, etc from the girls new toys.
They replied to me saying that on the information provided they would be happy to send the dwarves even though I couldn't provide them with proof of purchase and they should be sending them out the next week.
All seven arrived at the beginning of this week and the girls are delighted with their dwarves and I am in the good books again.0 -
Ordered on 17 Aug and to date didn't hear or receive a thing.
Just called them and spoek to some snotty so and so who accused me of lying because i had not (genuinely) received any email from them. She said she would resend and we would go from there.

Should have told her where she can stuff her stuffed dwarves.
I don't have proof of purchase so looks like refund for me. Although strictly speaking they are in the right, as i didn't buy the items from Argos, 60 days with no email or refund is not on, and to be so rude!! :mad:"Sealed Pot challenge" member No.1378 -

I also ordered all seven in early September and I also got an email around the 23rd asking for proof of purchase, but as I got all the codes from here, I replied saying I didnt have them. They had taken all the monies, so I asked them for a refund.
I have had no toys or refund thus far - what do you think I should do?

i ordered right at the very begining. not email has been received about POP and no dwarfs. I emailed them once the first POP emails were issued but nothing has arrived.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
