If you have an aerial lead going back to the TV from the DVD recorder then it might mean you just need to retune the TV.

If all you have is the aerial, going back to the TV, then investing in a SCART would be advisable for the playback of DVDs.

If it still doesn't work, whats the make and model of the recorder?

hi trying to set up my mico dvd recorder with no luck
do I need two or three scart leads I have a sky box
    help
  • I too am having problems with setting up this machine.

I have connected aerial and scart but when I select scart cable on installation menu I lose all output from the DVD recorder and it returns to TV picture.

Previously the menu was scrolling across the screen and changing colour slightly - Is this normal on setup or have I a dodgy machine?

Any help would be much appreciated

The DVD recorder's signal will only be available via scart. The RF (aerial) plugs only pass the signal through so that there is a signal going to the internal tuner.
