What have you spent/will you spend today Tues 25th April?

Hi everyone,

:mad: Annoyed today as my bus fare has gone up from £4.80 to £5.50 - which I make a rise of 15%!! (Maths isn't my strong point so apologies if that's incorrect!). I only had £4.40, so had to get a single ticket and am now going to have to get money out of the whole in the wall to get home! :mad: Furious!

Anyway - not planning to spend anything else today - I can't! I have a BIG scary work meeting with a big BOARD of the company who fund my post at the charity I work at so I'm on MSE for a calming 5 minutes before I get stuck in!

What have you spent/will you spend today Tues 25th April?

scottishspendaholic x
MBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
Bank of Scotland = £2,782.83

    Good luck SS - and I'm sending lots of karma and calmness your way as well.

    I'm not sure if I'll be spending anything today - not if I can help it I think, though I'm going out to Mums & Toddlers with my niece.

    Edit: Bah - £2.04 on milk, fruit and chocolate. And when I got home and thought about not shopping again till Friday I realised it's going to be tricky, so could have left the above till I was organised.

    Will need some teabags, but really cant be bothered to go to the co-op for thier fairtrade ones (hour walk there and back) Might pop over to the costcutter and buy a VERY small pack of tea and go get the others tomorrow!

    No spend day for me hopefully. Got a lady dropping off some ironing so some money to be earned there, and I went to put £10 into my bank paying-in book to take to bank later in the week....I found £30 already there that I'd forgotten about!! :D So with what I've already got, what I earn today and my £40 I've already got my £172 savings shortfall for April sorted :D. And my second day of no smoking!

    Morning!!

    I got home last night to find that Capital One had kindly sent me some cheques to go with my credit card - are they mad???? :0) Bought them into work with me today so that I can shred them!!

    Have lunch with me but meeting my sister tonight who is in London for the week, so will probably get some food - or go for a few drinks - nothing too expensive though I hope, as I only have £6 to last until payday (friday) - so I'll obviously be going over that (which I dont like!!).

    Come into work. Now got a headache. Want to go home!!

    xx
