New job offer and my morgage application

Options
Hello! Hope your all well :D

Me and my partner have been looking to buy our first house.
The mortgage will be in my name because he already has his own flat (which he is in negative equity)
I have been accepted for a mortgage but as of yet all our offers have been out bidden.
I have been in my current job for 3 years and used to love going to work. New company took over a year ago and I don’t really like it.
I have been offered 2 new jobs with a company who are really good to work for.
If I go with them I will not be working shifts or weekends, will be working flex time, will have them to pay for a social work degree if I which is something I want to do at a later date and also have better working conditions, The pay and holidays are roughly the same.
The only thing is they have offered me one full time job with a 120 round mile trip and on temp job for 6 months in the area I want to work.
How would this affect my mortgage application?
To make things a little bit more confusing 5 mins after I had the call offering me a job my manager called to say that the things I had asked for (training, setting up groups and organising a mini project) have all been agreed to.
Please help i need to give him an answer by monday.
Cheer all Jo x

You need to talk to your lender / mortgage adviser, as the answer will depend on which lender you're using.

You need to tell the lender if you decide to change jobs. It is unlikely that they wil be happy to lend to you if you take on the temporary job, as there's no guarantee you will have a job at the end of it. With the other option, some lenders will be happy with just a reference from the new eemployer, some will want you to have completed your probationary period and others will want you to have worked there for a minimum period of time. Call them to find out what the rules are, before you make any decisions. Good luck!

My current application, which was the best fixed term deal i could get need me to be with the same employer for a min of 2 years.
Its typical if the morgage wasn't involved I would jump at it :(

So you have an agreement in principle at present? You don't actually have an application going through?

Will you be on a probationery period if you take up a new job offer?

Who is the current agreement in principle with?

You won't get a mortgage if you are employed on a temp basis? Do you want to travel 120 mile round trip a day? If you like the prospect of the new job offer would it make more sense to look for a property closer travelling?
