Can't sleep - one of those nights

Im usually awake but I had an early night last night, went to bed at 12.45 so missed your post. Sometimes at that time at night it seems that theres no one around but i always find it hard to sleep stressing about money, debts, pay, ebay. By the way Moaning Myrtle, thats a great simile, eyes like pissholes in the snow. I really like that. Did you make it up yourself?

It's me again and yeah my eyes have been like that all day! :cool: Not feeling so bad tonight & hoping for some proper kip soon but don't want to go to bed too early. It's funny how things seem better in daylight even with no real & actual improvement happening! Does that make any sense at all?

Hard to control brain sometimes and learn to relax properly. It's pay day on Friday so money's on my mind just a bit more than usual! I try and do projections for each month so I can see how the month plans out but last night I couldn't shut down properly. Over tired too just like the zafira advert.

I've only been MSEing a couple of months and I've got years ahead of me to go yet. About 2 1/2 years to get on top of the plastic and a further 6 years on the mega loan, so to keep sanity for all that time I've got to keep it all in perspective. Thanks to all on here for helping me get control and making the changes happen. The long slog is down to me now (with a bit of cyber encouragement and advice along the way).

I think I should join the chill out zone!

I've just got back from work and treated myself to a can of Tesco lemonade shandy!!! All is right with the world!!

Worries are always amplified by tiredness and the more worrying you do at night, the less sleep you get...... so you feel more tired ...... so you worry even more etc....

Best thing to do is get up, write down your worries in a list and resolve to face them tomorrow when you've got a clear head. That way you've 'done something' which is much more positive than lying in the dark with your eyes wide open while things are whizzing around your head.

Actually i will go to bed soon. i'm doing this while i'm loading my ancient dishwasher (economy 7) hence it is taking a long tiem but I should go to bed because i started feeling dizzy at work today and that will never do as im helping to look after the little year 5s who are coming in this week for taster days.
