Can't sleep - one of those nights

Too much going on in my head.

I had a long and sh!tty shift, got in at 8pm, made a sandwich, didn't eat it, fell asleep on the sofa, woke up at 10pm, went to bed at midnight, gave up trying to sleep, came on here to see who else is awake too and to eat slightly dry sandwich. You see, my brain went into overdrive, number crunching, pay day, calendar stuff. Logged into bank but it's not been updated yet. Haven't sold anything on Amazon either. Done some snowballing calculations but no change there either :( (which I tried to do in my head whilst trying to sleep but failed totally). ie failed to sleep and failed to calculate too! One of life's ironies is I've got to be up at 6 tomorrow. I'm gonna regret this.

As I said just one of those nights & everyone's been there - it's not my first and probably not my last either. ramble ramble ramble.....sorry

    Hi,
Just though I'd say hi as I'm still up too - although I'm in the US for a few days on business and it's mid evening here. I know what it's like to be awake when everyone else is merrily in the land of nod. Tomorrow can't be any worse than today for you. The bank will have updated, you'll feel a bit more positive and things will feel more normal. We all have a habit of feeling that things are worse than they really are when there'e noone to talk to and it's really quiet with no distraction. Cheer up, you're not on your own!
    Take care

    Hi
make that three of us.I am trying to finish an assignment for my Ou course but having problems with avoidance tactics, would rather read everyones latest posts.I also have to be up at 6 to travel to a seminar (boring). Think I will have to put the assignment on hold til tomorrow night.
have just applied for a 0% card as one of mine is ready to move. Getting a bit obsessed with all things DFW lately, good thing DH works nights.

    not quite....

I am at work just now, I build multi-million pound systems for banks. Just keeping a eye on them.

Whilst I am being bored with that, sticking my 2 cents worth in when I feel like it....

    sorry to be missleading

I feel dreadful today, I'm not starting work until 2pm, but slept badly last night, woke up at 2ish freezing, my teeth were chattering and now my eyes feel like pi$$holes on the snow. I've just looked after my sisters kids and they were badly behaved but are at school now. I've got to work unitl 11pm tonight so may got to sleep now. The housework can wait.

Sympathies to everyone feeling down, tired, stressed or all three!! <hugs>
