Agree with e00c, a netbook looks to be a much better option.
Possible options (only did a quick search):
Lenovo Ideapad £270
ASUS Eee PC £250
More expensive, but it does mean you can use MS Office (or the free OpenOffice), surf the net, email, load on other games and programs etc compared to the Lexibook.
Although your littles ones have to take care of it a bit more.0 -
I think a netbook would be better. I got my kids the asus eee last year when they were 8 and 10 and it's very resilient. Has been on holiday with us with a few movies on a memory stick. Battery life is good. My now 11 yr old sticks it in her backpack as a matter of course.0
