Inspiron 1300 Wireless Driver

I am having some real problems with my Dell Inspiron 1300, especially with the wireless functioning. The problem all started when I tried to link it with the Wanadoo Livebox, from that point onwards the Device Manager tells me that the Dell Wireless 1370 Mini PCI Card has a borken or corrupt driver. The Dell website has a driver that I can download but it warns me that this is only for those who reside in the US.

Help where can I find a driver I can download?

Did you get a blue or green driver CD with it, if so, it should be on there.

Or delete the device in device manager, then run add new hardware, it should pick it up from the hard disk.

that was quick... don't forget to setup wpa encryption (if it supports it).. otherwise your neighbours will too..

also, create a system restore point, in case it goes wrong again.

I downloaded a driver for my Dell laptop WiFi (mini-PCI) last week. I must've got the same driver as you, because I also saw a warning that it was for the USA. The USA driver did work though.

I went back to the Dell website later, and after a lot of scrutiny, managed to find the correct UK driver (on the same page of drivers). You should really be using this, otherwise you'll not have the correct list of channels.
Of course, I may just be talking b****cks!
