Hi, I asked earlier about a gaming laptop for DD and have since been considering other options. I still have no clue, please remember this
She currently uses a HP Media Centre desktop pc, which she plays the sims on and it freezes, crashes etc, etc. I was wondering if there's anyway we can upgrade this pc rather than spend ££££ on a high spec gaming laptop? I think it has the following:
Memory 1GB
Hard drive 160 GB SATA
Base processor Athlon 64 X2 (W) 3800+ 2.0 GHz
Chipset GeForce 6150 LE
Integrated graphics
You're such clever people on here

Crucial memory website says the PC can take 2GB of memory so if you already have 1 stick at 1GB then another 1GB will cost £12.64 delivered but if you have 2 sticks of 512MB each then 2 x 1GB will cost £24.12 delivered.
To check what you have in there then go to the link below and run the auto checker.
You also might need to clean the machine out of dust and use a piece of software like ccleaner to clean up unused files and the registry.
