printer help please

Trying to use printer black seems fine but all the rest comes out faint yellowish it doesn't say that i'm short of ink -any ideas please or could it be the ink

    Hopefully you software that came with the printer should have a clean nozzels program so try that.
    Always looking for a bargain and to help
  • The nozzles do dry out in this hot weather (or in winter with central heating on, can't win) and colour inkjets need to be run weekly, thus using more inks during a clean / purge cycle. Use a laser printer they don't use liquid inks, but cheaper powered toners, no drying out.
