Sammy - yes, we've chatted online most evenings, often till 2am, 3am, etc, so we do get on well, it's just not enough.

I mentioned to him a couple of times last week that I didn't have the kids most nights this week, so if he fancied a dvd and a drink it would be nice to see him. He said he would see what nights he had the kids, training etc and let me know.

He hadn't mentioned it, and sent me a message today asking if he could drop my phone charger off on Tuesday lunchtime if he pops out from work - took that to mean he wouldn't be coming round for the evening this week, but mentioned it again anyway, only to get the same answer as before, but with the beginnings of excuses of having the kids more than usual during the holidays and having other 'sh*te' to sort out this week.

So I told him the offer would stay open but I wouldn't ask again because, frankly, I'd asked him 3 times and I was starting to feel like I was begging/pestering. He said 'I don't mean to make you feel like that, this week is just a busy one but maybe next week'.

No definite arrangement, just a 'maybe', same as always, and to be honest, I'm sick of waiting and hoping, and am not prepared to continue doing it.

Snags, that sounds so much like the guy I was seeing earlier in the year, but as He's Just Not That Into You tells us - if they want to see us they will. (Which I totally had proved to me this week! On both sides of the argument.)
