Google analytics slowing firefox down

Just lately when accessing MSE forums I've noticed it really going slow - I use Firefox. I've noticed a thing at the bottom saying accessing Google analytics and it seems to really hang for a good 10 seconds so I can't just go from page to page. It also makes going to other tabs slow as well?

Is it Google analytics making it go so slow?

    Simply download the NoScript add-on here and deny access to Google analytics. NoScript will make your browsing much safer.

    Can i set noscript up to block all google analytics without me having to choose to block it

    noscript WILL block G-A on all pages without any action from you....but you will need to unblock elements of many pages to achieve functionality...it's a real PITA for a few days, then becomes 2nd nature :)
