Deliberately crashing airline websites?

I keep hearing stories of a website belonging to a certain low cost carrier habitually crashing during the payment process. What happens is this: you key in your card details, hit pay and then the screen crashes. You think the payment hasn't gone through, since you don't get an email. So, you rebook, only to discover further down the line that the original booking did indeed go through.
I have heard this story half a dozen times. The amounts involved are not great, so passengers generally don't ask for refunds. But I am beginning to smell a rat.
Has this happened to you?

If you're talking about EasyRyan it's never happened to me in 100's of bookings, if in doubt give it a while and check your e-mail inbox before
re-booking. Or check your on-line banking to see if the payment has been taken or has been blocked (an amount 'reserved' which is shown as a difference between balance and available - varies from bank to bank).
50+ flights a year and no rodent smell detected yet. Maybe you're mates need new computers.
If it's another airline, give us a clue, initials for instance, or the colour of their big flying things. :A Very happy to fly all around Europe for £1 all in per sector-or less.0 -
I seriously doubt it's deliberate.0

Nope and I've probably booked about 20 flights between both of the usual lowcost airlines.
Again, check other options before clicking buy again, but that kind of thing has happened on other websites for me - never for flights2 Tickets to Blackrock Masters Tennis:j0
