How Do I Fill Out a Document In A Email

Hello Everyone,

I don't know If this is the right place to put this :o. I have been sent a document in a email today which is a form I need to fill out.

I have the choice of opening as a google document I clicked that but couldn't see how I can fill it out :o

Or I can download it which I did. I now can see boxes that I can fill out. Theres even a curser flashing in the box. But when I type nothing shows in the box :o

    What's the extension of the document - ie .doc .pdf etc
    Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

    do you mean .doc, its a word woc then, you should be able to open it using open office if you have it or microsoft word

    Oh dear I don't have either of these unless its free & comes with the laptop :o.

    Open a Document

    Drawing
    Formula

    I tried open a document but I cant find the email :confused: Sorry im rubbish at this :o

    You need to open the email first and save the attached document to somewhere like your desktop or documents folder

    The document should be somewhere on your computer where you've downloaded it to.

    The program that you use is the Open Office word processor package.
    Then click on Open > File (in the top left hand corner)
    to open your file.

    Then fill it in.
    Then save it as file type:- Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc)
