The poster is suggesting getting a loan to go into matched betting and others are agreeing that this is a good idea. Many people are aware of the expensive mistakes made every day in this game and the obvious dangers of bookmakers folding(many more recently like Goldvictory) or just being slow payers with the knock on effect onto possible problems with loan repayments.
Not only this, but post 17 on this thread, like many on this forum, goes into the operation of multiple accounts and how to avoid detection. At least so far we have avoided details of how to operate other people's bank accounts which is a daily topic.
It seems the board guides are unable to stem the flow of abusive posts on this forum,as usually the posters are well aware to start their thread at night and they get their topic a good airing before it is reported and dealt with the next day.
To be frank, this forum is becoming an embarrassment to the well intentioned aim of moneysaving.

Reporting each thread has no effect, apart from sometimes they get deleted.
The one I quoted is just an example, the whole tone of the forum has turned sleazy and disreputable.0 -

Hi carpetbarn,
If you read the thread closely, you'll find most people DISCOURAGING the OP from taking out the loan.
If you disagree with the thread and its contents, please report to
Edited to add:
I've just reread the whole thread again and find one poster who did take out a loan but wouldn't really recommend doing the same to the OP, the CONSENSUS on the thread was that it was not a good idea to take out a loan. Can you please post where the encouragement to take out the loan is?
Many thanks0 -

Did you actually read the thread you quoted?
Where do you see the "abusive posts"? Get yourself over to the Arms and you will have something to complain about!!!

I was extremely worried when i read this forum note.
THen I went to thread and most of the posts i saw seemed to tell the poster not to borrow - so I actually think its serving the purpose quite well. Someone asked a question and was told not to do the thing that wasn't moneysaing?
The gambling board is an issue - and difficult to police. I'm caught between the balance of knowing for some its a successful way to make risk free cash from intro bonuses and arbing - but worried that it goes too far. Then again this is a discussion forum so we have to allow people to discuss.
