Help please! Online storage issue.

I've just realised that the online storage outfit I've been using - Diino - is about to start charging for access.

Ok so I've been told that there are other free options still on offer but the question is this: how do I transfer the contents of my Diino account directly to a new facility? What's the physical process?

I really need some help with this and would be grateful for advice.

Liz

    Hi
I suppose that you have to download all the files into a temporary folder on your computer.
Then upload them again to the new facility later.

I'd agree. But then again, surely you have local copies of the files as well, just having online ones would seem rather risky?

    Check out Dropbox.

You get 2 GB of free storage, and whether you use Windows, Mac OS X or Linux, it integrates really nicely to your computer.

As for transferring your files, download them to your computer and upload them to your new service.

Im a regular user of Dropbox and recommend it too.
When I start getting close to my 2gb limit, this is a service I would be prepared to pay a small amount for.
