I know this was stupid but it was so easy at the time, been using Norton 360 for the last year and part of it was password security etc and well the list is as long as my arm with what i registered (not quite but you know what i mean),forgot half of what i registered with to be honest but was wondering if their was any way of recovering these without re-registering too expensive and want to try Kapersky after what i have read on here,
i have back up discs but dont want to run without knowing what will happen, know its a long shot but youve got to try,had some great advice of of here in the past
thanks melmar

Symantec provides instructions on how to export your password data from Identity Safe after your registration has expired:

Or for their 2008 product:

I can recommend storing your passwords in future using Keepass. It's free, and it means you aren't tied to a specific software supplier in future.

Thanks fwor will have a go at that, can i get back to you on this thread if i get stuck
not very tech minded, thanks again0 -
I doubt you'll have trouble - at the end of the process (whichever one of the two sets of instructions suits your version of Norton 360) you'll end up with a comma-separated text file with your usernames and passwords in it, which you can open with Notepad.
I don't think Keepass can import that type of file (KeePassX can't) so you may have to type them in again from scratch.0
