Thanks - nice to know someone is looking out for me - i do try to post but sometimes i dont have much to say:D

They do indeed try to get into Llandough - i was 5 hours for a scan and chat with mw last time - heres hoping it goes more smoothley this time.

I guess it depends what part of Cardiff you are in - I was in Thornhill so Llandough would have been way too far away for me.

Don't worry about having anything to say - I just waffle half the time, well most of the time!

Watching Jimmy Carr from the other night - can't believe some of the stuff he comes out with! :rotfl:

I was given a choice of uhw or landough but as landough is a mw led unit and uhw is consultant lead - i got stuck at the uhw - maybe i have got a freaky feeling about the place because i was born there:rotfl:

Did you find out how far along you were 32b using the doppler? when i first picked up hb it was low on pubic bone and then at about 18 weeks it was about an inch up - now it can be anywhere - lol. last time it was just to the right of my belly button. I have to keep checking it is not mine as it can double up sometimes making it sound fast like baby's. Mine is 95  - dont ask - lol and baby's is 143.
Well they say you can only hear the heart beat after 12 weeks so i must be that at least lol
It's just above my pelvic bone for best sound any way so who knows. Just glad all sounds well. Thanks for asking

Ah - Llandough reminds of when Nessa gave birth in Gavin and Stacey

the girls on the Parent Thread are playing with this website

add your name and it tells you how popular it is in the US

OH is happy he's ranked in the top 200 and average age of people with his name is 26.

Mine is ranked outside the top 1000 and average age is 53

I was born at the hospital I'm giving birth at. It was only opened two years before I was born so was all sparkly new then. Family have got lots of photos of me just after I born there so it will be funny to ones of my bubs there too!

Glad you are reassured anyway 32b. Your scan is on the 15th?

i have photos too gisi they are all 70's and have a wierd yellowy browny tinge to them - must have been the camera. I recently found out that i got whisked away to the baby unit for monitoring when i was born and they didnt tell my mum where i went - must have been a bit of an emergency and she was walking the corridors looking for me - i certainlly hope their service has improved since then lol

Yep so much for the urgency to be dated, the doc said emergency appointment.
We only get one scan up here too so wont get to see bubs in full flow later on unless their is a reason too.:(
Or we pay for a private scan which reminds me must check insurance see if it covers a scan.

Is that supposed to be a 16 week scan 32b? I am not sure about the scottish system. If they have scanned you too early do they have to do it again?
