Beenie my whole house looks like a bombs gone off and I CBA to do anything about it
My parents are staying for another 4 days and I seem to resort to acting like a sullen teenager when their here, I miss them like mad when they go but always feel weird when their in my home for a fortnight. Normal cleaning & tidying will resume when they leave.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Wow, preg club 4, 10th Jan, I posted for the first time.I keep wondering if I should join or not, have not yet discussed this pregnancy with my consultant to see if its safe for me to procede or not, but right now I am pregnant and regardless of the outcome I have the morning sickness to prove it.
My minera went missing as we discovered on Wednesday when I took not one but two tests just incase I had misread the clear blue digital and clear blue original! Straight to GP who sent me straight to EPAS for a scan. Another positive test up there, I was still convinced it was a phantom pregnancy till the scan! To say we were shocked and terrified doesn't even cover it!
Now I am trying really hard not to get excited but I can't help it. I just have a good feeling about this one. I am about 6weeks (they didnt tell me exaclty just that was early) going by my dates (that I am actually sure of this time) I should be due 31st August. Although going by past history if I get to July we will be suprised. If I get there at all.
Anyway, went to bed last night at 10am and this morning I got up at 9am, but woke at the usual 7.30am and I felt OK, not too sick, so heres hoping that early nights help my morning sickness. And that my bloomin consultant will get in touch soon!!!0 -
Evening all hows things. I forgot to sign out today honest, got a surprise when i put the comp on and it launched straight to the thread lol
How long do you have to pay for items on ebay? have not heard from the seller of the nappies. Was wondering in case they are not happy about the price they went for and may avoid contact. Will pay through paypal so that i am covered just in case. Hope they are just busy don't want to lose them
Took the Doppler down to my parents and let them have a listen, they were all excited except dad who refused to stand next to me when i had it on belly as i had to pull my trousers down half an inch lol he did have a listen to DS's HB though. Even my sister managed a smile at it.:D
Just had a baked potato with tuna mayo and sweetcorn with side of salad actually i think the potato was the side lol So i should be set till about 7.30:rotfl:[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

No news of EA yet?
Well I made it to Boots to get maternity pads for my hospital bag and also a new Clinique foundation as I won't be able to afford it when I'm on Mat Leave! Also went to big Asda- was really disappointed with the range of neutral baby clothes and didn't buy any but we did get some yummy pizzas and dips for tea, which is the most important thing.
I have loads of vests and babygrows but no outfits. I'm hoping that people will tend to buy outfits, but we will wait and see.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Lol boogelly, the only reason my downstairs is half tidy is cos i had to clean everything the other day cos the dog had fleas.
The upstairs is a whole other matter, she doesn't go up there and my carpet's forgot what the hoover looks like :rotfl:
[edit] i've just done my usual trick of filling up the kitchen sink and "leaving stuff to soak for 10 mins"
I waste so much water and Fairy this way. :rotfl:0 -
http://www.pregnancy.com.au/raspberry_leaf.htm (correct link this time )Right i have just been reading up on the RLT as well apparently you can take RLT from as early as 8wks a small dose at this point can help to control morning sickness. Alot of women seem to be recommending the tablets over the tea i may invest in some now as i am finding 4 cups a day hard to keep on top off. Holland and Barrett have them half price at the moment :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Hi everyone,
I am the same with outfits as GISI - it's mainly all neutral bodysuits/vests and sleepsuits that I have. I am assuming that people will probably buy nice outfits once they know if it's a boy or a girl. However, now that everything is washed and I was selecting which vests/sleepsuits to put in my hospital bag, I realised that the sizings maybe aren't great!
I have a few newborn things which in some places go up to 10lbs and in others only to 7.8lbs (which is no use if I have an 8lb baby!). Some of the 0-3 month stuff only goes up to 10lbs as well. So my advice is that if you are buying online, check out what the sizes mean in each individual shop. I think I am going to have to buy some bigger sleepsuits and maybe some smaller vests. Only got a handful of 3-6 month sleepsuits/vests as I want to wait to see what flavour we have!

I bought them yesterday from H&B and just took my first one a short while ago. I think they smell like rabbit food mixed with tea leaves!! Also, they do say "if you are pregnant, consult a doctor before use", but I assume this is just standard. The woman in H&B said they recommend from 36 weeks.0 -
Fitzio you can get alot more wear out of a sleepsuit by cutting off the feet when bubs gets to long for them. As long as you can hem them back up no one will know the difference. I will get my mil to be to do that for me on her machine. :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
