Was having this discussion in work today. There are 6 of us in the office. 2 of us are planning to head to Oz, and one is going to England.

All for different reasons, but that's 50% (albeit in a small sample).

I've been back for five years after having been away for 17 years and am getting the urge to leave again. Things in general are a bit sh*t for me and coming back to NI really hasn't worked out in any favourable way for me at all. There are too many things going on right now so I won't be leaving soon, but I will be leaving....

    Well,

I'm just sick of the weather here! It seems like the whole of the summer holidays I'm stuck inside with an overactive toddler and 4 year old.... can't even get them into the garden most of the time!

I can't get my clothes dried outside, everytime I go out I get soaked!
My friend has just spend months organising a youth event for kids here, only to find it is going to be a wash out all weekend so those activites planned for outside have to be cancelled.

Where can I go to........... I want a better quality of life than this!!!!

    Florida (anyone)?

Got my immigration approved for Canada earlier this year so will leave these shores once the house sells. Of course, it might help if the house was on the market. Then again, it might help if the market was actually moving again LOL.

Hmm, that's interesting. Where do you start looking into emigration to Canada?
