Fitted kitchen washing machine space

Will be fitting my kitchen shortly and i need to leave a space between units for the washing machine. I don't have this yet but i did purchase a 600 door incase i get an integrated one.
I have been looking and some machines are just under 600 some are spot on. What size should i make the gap. 610mm??? Can't seem to find much information and i don't want it so tight it shakes all the units to pieces.
Anybody got theirs fitted???

Hi
When I moved into my place they had left the same width gap as the actual washing machine. To get it is was a right pain. The door had to be taken off and it only just fitted. Realistically I would have thought if you are not having an integrated machine you should allow about 2cm each side for moving purposes. I would make the gap 64/65 centimetres.
Allowing no space either side is not advisable, especially if it needs to be moved in future, ie for any repairs.0 -
You can leave a 10mm gap at either side to make it easier to put in/take out a free standing machine. However, if you do then decide to put in an integrated one, you'll have to live with the gaps...
And if you are getting a decent quality kitchen, you shouldn't need to worry about the w/m shaking the units to pieces, as they are designed to take the vibrations...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Kitchen is quality, but i am worried about the quality of the w/machine i can afford. Been reading some reviews and even some newies are pretty bad. I think the plan will be to leave a gap of 60mm and get a 590ish machine then it will have play either side.0
