DRO question

Hi all,

I am in the process of going BR, however my DH has decided to try for DRO instead as his debts are only about £5000.

My first question is, is there any exemption for the fee as he has no income at all.

Secondly, if my mum was to buy us a car and we put her as the owner on the V5, but we used it could that still be classed as an asset?

And thirdly is there any restrictions that could mean he wouldn't be granted a DRO.

Secondly, if my mum was to buy us a car and we put her as the owner on the V5, but we used it could that still be classed as an asset? In the eyes of the law, you dont own it.

And thirdly is there any restrictions that could mean he wouldn't be granted a DRO. Other than not meeting the qualifying criteria {£50 surplus, less than £300 assets etc} no, but bear in mind, creditors can appeal to their inclusion in a DRO

    Hope that helps :p
