Notice of Redundancy

I was given 13 weeks notice after 1-2-1 consultation was complete this written document stated all my dates etc and my weeks entitlement and cash figure. Today i have been paid my redundancy but it differs from this letter the weeksare write on the letter but the average earnings have I believe been calculated wrong its 2k diiferent in my pay packet from my letter. Is the letter legally binding? The weeks on the letter are correct with my calculation. I wasexpecting 2k more in my bank, have I any rights??? If its a genuine mistake where do I stand?

Were you given actual payments that were going to be made to you or just the way in which it was calculated? Have you taken into account tax and NI deductions?

If you are getting redundancy based on avergage earnings have these reduced during the notice period to give the new lower figure.

are you getting stat redundancy or enhanced?

how did you get 13 weeks notice, was it contractual?

you need to go back and ask why the money is different from what you were expecting

You should have a writen statement for any payments you get and how tey have ben calculated, don't forget any otstanding holiday
