Tesco credit card and club points

I've just read Martin's Best Credit Card Rewards article and wondered...
do my club points accrued from my Tesco credit card default to redeem cash vouchers which come through the post (quarterly)?
i.e. vouchers deduct points automatically (thus leaving me with less points to redeem my points in more valuable ways e.g. RAC assistance subscription)

Tesco-thirdtastic. Tesco £1.65/£0.50 per £100 spending. Use its Clubcard points towards a discount off your Tesco shopping and it’s a paltry 50p per £100 spending. However, use the points to redeem on days out vouchers and other gifts and the return is an average £1.65 per £100.

All points collected during that particular quarter will be sent to you as money vouchers e.g £10.50 if you spend these instore, they are worth the face value of £10.50 BUT,if you spend them on Clubcard Deals (pick up a leaflet instore but details are available online) you can use the same vouchers to buy £42.00 of deals.
I just spend Saturday night at a Marriot hotel, and it cost me £30.00 of Tesco vouchers.
Does that make sense?Sponsored by Tesco Clubcard Points !!0 -

Tesco clubcard points are earned on both the standard clubcard account and your credit card account.
Each quarter, Tesco send you vouchers through the post to the value of the clubcard points earned and those are then deducted from your account. You can then use those vouchers for either shopping instore for their face-value or clubcard deals for 4 x face-value.0 -
okidoki thnx
so the points don't just keep on racking up (like nectar points used to) and wait for you to redeem whenever, however...
am i correct in saying that if i want to redeem my points on clubcard deals (such as RAC subscription), I just save my vouchers?0 -

You can use the vouchers to order deals (like RAC membership) online using the code printed on them, however.0 -
