Started reclaming now, Should i pay off cards or not

Hi Guys
I have sent away the first letter to Egg today for Data protction act to get my Statements on the 29/07/2009. no word back as yet from this.

What can i expect from egg over the next Months?

Also sending of today 13/08/2009 my Data protction act letter for AOL Card MBNA with the tenner.
What can i expect from these lot?

I do have the money to clear these cards now in my bank so should i clear them now or wait until they maybe refund me money.

What would happen if i paid the cards of inbetween claiming and getting a decision from them.

If any debt is left on the card then the FP are within their rights (and most do) apply any refund to the outstanding balance. If you have paid the debt off prior to a successful reclaim then the FP will refund you by way of cheque/BACS.

Personally. If I were you I would pay off the cards now as oppossed to later as surely this means less interest paid to the FP. But hey ultimately this is choice.

    Good luck.
If you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!! :D
