The problem is probably your cat/s. Mine cats insist on bringing slugs home in their fur and depositing them on furniture etc.
Luckily most of our flooring isn't carpet so if we see a trail we put a few slug pellets down but you could try any of the gardening tricks to catch em - how about a lettuce leaf on some paper?

On the plus side, they're not munching your nice garden vegetables.
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
  • Check under the carpet by the door - there may be a hole in the frame or boards letting them in...and then get 29p bag of salt, which is much safer with cats around.

I had on indoors a few years ago. I sat up until about 2am to catch it and it eventually appeared from the corner of the skirting over the outside air vent. What spooked me was that it was completely white like an albino.
Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot.
  • We used to have them come in through where the mains water pipe came up through the floor in the cupboard under the sink. When DS was a baby and we used to come downstairs for a bottle in the middle of the night we used to pour salt on them - only problem is, it makes them salivate loads before they die.
  • Yeah, that's what I meant when I said sit up all night with a shotgun. :rotfl:

Reminds me of a Jasper Carrott mole routine, only this time "I've got a SLUG in my kitchen!".
