Family holiday on a budget.

Hello,
I was hoping to get some info on family holidays on a budget.
I am looking to go abroad this summer, we have 2 children that will be 1 and 4. We would like to go somewhere warm and sunny with a nice beach and a few activities for the 4 year old.
As we don't have to go in school holidays this year, we would like to go in September - preferably leaving on 9th
We would like to go to Menorca or Majorca
Don't mind what sort of accommodation, would consider S/C, Apartments or Hotel.
We would like to fly from Birmingham.
Have any of you got any good experiences or found good cheap prices anywhere. Any help would be most appreciated.
We have had a quote for the Binimar Apartments, Menorca leaving on 9/9 from Birmingham for 14 nights with Airtours of £1255.30
Thanks in advance.

For those apartments its not a bad price for a package I have just priced it up and cheapest flight is 547 with https://www.otbeach.com on the 14th then the apartment is £637.87 with https://www.alpharooms.co.uk and thats no transfers
There is another one that looks good called the The Lord Nelson Apartments in SANTO TOMAS which is a 3* (Binimar is 2*) for £574.05 (apartment only)

total for that one is if you book them together via https://www.travelrepublic.co.uk is £1,044.11 9th Sept. 14 nights
