Hsbc informal and formal..

well i recently got a overdraft about 3 weeks ago which i was useing, but this week i went to use it and i couldnt, so i phoned the bank and the bank said they had no record of me haveing a overdraft service,

So i got another one in place, which is costing me £25, but when i checked my account today there about to charge me £99 informal overdraft fee, plus the £25 arangement fee,

i know the £25 cant be avoided but can the £99?

Its a overdraft of £100

You need to find out whats happened to your overdraft - if you were merrily using it then suddenly it vanished, then somethings gone wrong.

Double check your statements for the past month - is the original overdraft arrangement fee showing, did all your transactions you thought were within your new overdraft incur charges ?

When you arranged the original overdraft did you have anything in writing ?
