iPhone Apps worth having and those that are not

With there being thousands of apps in iTunes just wanted to see what everyones good and bad apps have been.

Any apps that have been paid for and have been worth the money?

Any apps paid for that have been a waste of money?

Any free apps worth having or leaving alone?

The National Rail app (£4.99) is very good with journey planning, real time train tracking, etc. If you regularly have to call National Rail to get info then getting the app might save you money. Of course a true moneysaver would just use the National Rail website (free!).

    Agreed, along with:

Pandora Box (tells you about price drops on apps and new apps)
    RadioBOX (radio streaming)
Sky+ (remote record plus programme guide)
    Facebook (natch)
    Google (voice searching)
    Google earth
    Shazam (tune identifier)
    Blocked (addictive)
Camera Zoom (cos the iphone doesn't have one otherwise)
iFlashready (lightens photos that should have been taken with flash)
Allowance (keeping an eye on what you have left)
Remote (lets you use the iphone as a remote for your mac etc)
    TubeMap

Especially since they have a mobile version!

    Here's the apps I have:
    Wikipanion - for Wikipedia browsing
Beejive IM - Expensive, but the best messenger app available
Skype - freezes and crashes too much, IMO.
TVGuide - easier than turning on the TV to see what's on
Twitterfon - very good twitter client
Sketches - lots of fun drawing on your ipod
    ICanHasCheezburger - just...fantastic
UKnumbers - because I get bored easily!
    Bookworm - Very addictive game
Solebon - Also very addictive card games, especially solitaire!
    Red Button - weird
    Squirrel!
If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
    Now 20% cooler

    Bejewelled 2
    Labyrinth 3D
    Skysports SC
