Triton T80 Shower Head

Hi all
I have an old Triton T80 shower that works okay apart from the shower head which is now broken.
I am having great difficulty finding a suitable replacement part as the shower head is the type that has very fine pin !!!!! holes in for the water to escape whilst the modern shower heads have larger holes and when used with the Triton T80 the water has no spray effect and just runs out like a tap.
Can anyoen advise please?

Have you looked in £1 shop as they have shower heads that fit the Triton T80.
"Just runs out like a tap " Something dont sound right with that . I have a shower head on mine that i can make the water come out in a fine jet or all the spray holes the water comes out. Is the pressure on your cold water high enough ?0 -
In our previous house we had a Triton T80 and needed a new shower head. We just went to B&Q and bought one there, nothing fancy but you could alter the spray pattern (about 3 different ones I think). I think it was a Mira shower head and we had no problems with it.0

Yes I have bought a £1 shower head but the holes in it are too big and the water just comes out like a tap running and not like a jet spray.
I think the suggestion of low water pressure could be something to do with it though, how/where do I look to alter the cold water pressure?
Yes I did try a shower head with 5 settings from Argos but only one of the settings worked so I considered it a waste of money.0 -
We have a Triton shower as well - you could go to Triton direct as they have spares - don't know how much it would be though: http://www.tritonshowers.co.uk/
The other place I've found useful (and a bit cheaper) is the Shower Doctor who will deliver parts and you can also get advice from them - https://www.showerdoc.co.uk. Other than that, would ebay be worth a try??0 -
We have a thingy under the kitchen sink that makes the water pressure go up or down or switch it off. You must have one there some where .
Dont buy another shower head as its obviously not the spray heads .
Think its called a Stop !!!! ? Oh wont let me write the word but its C@ck0 -
Hi check water is not leaking from the bottom of the unit through the small plastic tube.
if it is then you need to replace the pressure release valve in the unit and it will only cost a few quid.
if you are having pressure problems this is the most likely cause0 -
I've tried adjusting the pressure of the water with the stop tap but to no effect. The cheapo shower head with larger water holes still drips the water out whereas the triton shower head with pin like water holes sprayed the water out nicely.
I know they do a cheapish about £5 shower head at Argos which has small pin holes in that will probably do the job but as the shower is old now I'm contemplating getting a new unit.
I must live in a low water pressure area.0 -

Bought a Triton Shower Head from B and Q with 3 settings which all work great and the shower is revitalised!0
