ebay message from would be buyer, what to do?

Hi
The background to this is that last month I listed a washing machine for sale on ebay, at the time it was in full working water, I had said that before disconecting it I would put it through on a boil wash to give it a clean, on doing this the machine started to make a horrible noise on spin, I phoned a few engineers who suggested it may be the bearings that were going, I cancelled the auction and emailed each bidder to say what had happened (cancelled well over 24hours before the auction ended), my intention was to relist as broken but for repair but i have not relisted it.
Today I have had this message
"oh,is that so!!!well how convienient for you!!! its funny but ive seen this statement somewhere before......usually when the item did'nt fetch the money one was expecting!!! i won the bid fair and square and what you are doing is illegal.i will be reporting you and will also make others aware of your scheming, scaming ways for any future items you care to try to sell through ebay mr ....ebay username...."
Now I have blocked this user from future auctions, I know its not illegal, I know she would have an even bigger chip on her shoulder if she had won a broken washing machine, but it seems that she plans on trying to sabatage any future auctions..can she do this (doesnt the new screen on ebay only show bidder1, bidder2 etc so how would she be able to contact bidders)? I dont mind if she contacts ebay because this is a genuine problem, the machine broke and I cancelled the auction in line with ebay policy, she was the lead bidder but did not win as the auction had not finished, can I contact ebay about her? What would you do?
Thanks

id open a new ebay account if you must sell stuff on there, avoid her for a bit.
sounds a bit extreme but if you're that paranoid about her sabotaging your auctions thats the only way you can avoid her.0 -
lol i'd be tempted ot let her know you are more than happy for her to collect the broken washing machine for her top bid0

:Dthat would be evil wouldnt it:D:D I can see her point..sort of... I could have left the auction to run and sold it anyway and denied all knowledge of the fault as it was a cash on collection item...it just seems that you cant do right for doing wrong with this ebay marlarky 0 -
Mm, yeah tempting to email her.
Dear x, I would be happy to honour your bid. As previously explained, it has a fault. You are abviously very keen to buy, so please let me know when you can collect'My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
