Talk Talk line rental - why 4 months

My parents have been with Talk Talk for calls for about 5 years now. In April, my parents decided to go with them for line rental. Given dates, but still not being switched over. Phoning every other day and people say they will phone back, but don't.

My parents are not giving me the full details when asking them for this forum. So no idea if they are being billed for LR by TT at the moment or not.

The area where my parents live isn't on cable, so can't get this.

Could someone please tell me why Talk Talk are taking 4 months for this when friends and relatives took a couple of weeks maximum?

If you don't know if they're being billed or not, then how do you know it hasn't already been switched? If it has, then they would have received their final bill from BT.
It will say on their bill if line rental is included.
It should normally take around 21 days to transfer the line.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
