Factory Seconds / Graded White Goods

I've discovered the Comet Clearance site
https://www.clearance-comet.co.uk where seconds and returned goods are auctioned.
Does anyone know of any other sites where seconds are sold? I'm particularly looking for an AEG dishwasher.
Thanks.
Beckipeg.

yes this site is good but before you commit to a bid check out the eqivelent on the normal website as sometimes theres better bargains to be had. also the p&p on the clearance site can be hugeThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,

My search for graded suppliers continues - just in case you'd like to know.
Graded are usually goods which have been damaged in some way - best ones to find have a superficial mark or damaged packaging. They typically sell for around 30% discount and can come with manufacturer's warranty as normal.
I've found Bosch graded dishwashers, washing machines, fridges, freezers available at
Joe Graham & Son 1 Cosgrove Way Luton Bedfordshire LU1 1XL Tel: (01582 725783).
I think that it's usually smaller retailers that buy up these items for resale. Worth a look, seems moneysaving to me.

Hi All
I have used Comet Clearance auctions numerous times and they have saved me a fortune.
So far I have bought a
36" TV and saved £650
LG American Fridge Freezer saved about £300
Bosch Dishwasher saved about £ 120
Hotpoint Condenser Tumble dryer saved about £80
Bosch Washing M/C saved about £140
Never had a problem with them. Deliveries on time.

i have been looking there lately and i ain't seen a bargain. it's like ebay, where idiots drive the price up to almost what they cost in the store.....for ex-display/damaged/unpackaged goods!!!0

try googleing for ex catalogue, i use some of the ex cat companies but they are mainly pallet load suppliers, if your a serious ebayer or carbooter they are really handy but not for the average seller.
try gem discounts and cr bristol these and others are listed on googleRunning total for swagbucks - £270 since Jan
Running total for superpoints -:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I just bought a Zanussi AAA graded dishwasher from Comet Clearance and am delighted with it. £299.99 everywhere else and I got it for £160. Said it had a few small scratches on it but after checking it over carefully have yet to find them, they must be tiny. Would definitely recommend.

the only problem with comet auctions is the simple fact that they finish at 5pm i dont finish work till 5pm so i miss out.:ASexy_fufu:A0

They managed to loose a huge fridge freezer and offered nothing in replacement, I can understand this on smaller goods and hence the T&C wording, but in my humble opinion they was a clear case of the manager sold the item on the floor (since comet auction aggregate for all store's returned and damaged lines). I waited ages before finally giving up and getting Comet to do the same and cancel and refund.
Second Item. They deliver a cooker with the controller unit hanging out, obviously dropped from some height, bumps, dents, scratches - fine. But this was a clear electrical hazard, the guys that came to pick up said it will probably go to scrap.
I got so !!!!!! off during the time I used them I started complaining about them on the Internet -anger works in funny ways, but it did provoke a call from the manager of Comet retail store in Glasgow (who are not the auction people, must be mates with the Comet Auction guys).
I appreciate some people have good experience, but's it certainly a risk, just like EBuyer etc... If you desperately need the appliance and can't stand any screw up in the process pay a little extra and go with someone reputable by all accounts.0 -
In Lincoln there is a Freemans Catalogue Outlet full of TV's and white goods, clothing, furniture etc and alot has very good savings.
Also in Freeport at Castleford there is a Littlewoods and CBS store im sure there are a few shops like this dotted around the country.0
