Worcester Boiler?

We have just been quoted on a new boiler as we currently have an old back boiler behind the gas fire.
We have been quoted 2,250 for new boiler, fitted and removing all old pipework tank etc. The heating engineer advised Worcester boiler was the only one he would recommend, he can do others cheaper but they are no good
Can anyone advise if this is the case?
Thanks in advance

Read through the gigantic number of similar posts on this exact subject.
To say only one make of boiler is any good is complete nonsense of course.0 -
Agree with EliteHeat but Worcester are good. I've had a Worcester combi for 2 and 1/2 years and no probs.Named after my cat, picture coming shortly0
