Went to crown b4, all I can say is RUBBISH!

Wish we'd have gone to toby's now. Unlike Tobys u cant go up for more pots and veg at crown (at least nobody at all was and it was quite full..) and the veg looked like it'd been out ages and you get next to no meat!

Poor poor poor, not even worth the 3.50 i paid!

Which CC did you go? I've been to couple of CC and they were all OK, definitely worth 3.50 with their unlimited veg (all looked freshly cooked,too).

Just to say a huge thank you to the OP for posting this one. :T:T:T:A We've just been staying at a Haven Holidays campsite and before going I was looking around for deals at local restaurants to cut the cost of eating out. I was thrilled to see there was a Toby Carvery just two miles from the campsite, so printed off a few of the vouchers and took with me when we set off.

We took advantage of this offer on 3 occasions and had a great meal each time. It saved a load of money and meant all of us were full to bursting each time! And the kids loved their "free ice creams"! Much cheaper than eating in at the Haven restaurant and only a few miles up the road.

One night we also tried the Early Bird menu at the nearby Harvester. I think it was £4.99 for a main meal and unlimited salad. The salad bar was great, but the main meals weren't a patch on Tobys.

Let's hope it's repeated, could well be as there are loads of great offers on at the moment - spoilt for choice.

Shame I missed this one, we go to the local Toby Carvery a lot, I took the kids today as needed a decent meal, this was the first time they didn't have carrots though and my kids don't like the other veg.
