quidco and paydayuk - £45 profit

If you go to through quidco, paydayuk are offering £65 cashback for new customers.

Complete rip-off like. Basically, minimum they lend you is £80 and then you pay abck £100 on pay day. Works at 1000s % interest.

However, £65 cashback minus £20 = £45 profit....

I've done it successfully.

Of course, the parasites ring you a few days before payday to see if you want to extend it by another month (another £20!). Just tell them no take the £100 back please!

Feel sorry for people who get tied into something like this....

I'm glad I'm not a genuine customer in need of "urgent" cash as they claim to offer...

I borrowed £80 from them via quidco today at about 2pm, was immediately accepted and it said I would have the money in my bank within a few hours.

5pm: no money in my bank. glad i dont need the cash to go out with tonight! Nothings tracked in quidco either, maybe i made a mistake?

7pm: still no money in the bank but now I get an email saying that the loan has been finalised. (eh? i thought it was all sorted 5 hours ago?)

11pm: so much for "instant transfer" the £80 is still in limbo somewhere between them and hbos. At least its finally tracked in quidco.

I dont have any quarms whatsoever about taking £45 off this company. they are a load of robbing ********'s charging me 139455% APR. I know looking at APR is a distorted picture but it's a scheme that can only make the rich richer and the poor poorer. Makes me mad! and when the vultures ring in a few days time to ask if I want to extend it, then I'll tell them no and make sure they know never to call me again.

I hope everybody manages to take a tidy £45 from them. Tell your friends! The more that know about this, the better.

I did this through topcashback. The paid £50 so after borrowing £80 and paying back £100 I cleared £30. Easiest money I ever made.

Can I do it on Quidco now? Even though I've done it on Topcashback.

I agree they are robbing bar stewards, Payday UK. I had no qualms whatsoever about taking this money from them. It tracked really quickly too.

exactly same situation as my friend that applied tonight.
if quidco dont track it properly because of the delay with faxing/emailing id documents in, then they will end up £20 down, not £45 up! so i suggested that they abandon this application and try tomorrow in his wifes name instead.

I did this successfully. It took several days to track but I didn't get any phone calls (so far anyway) or passport requested.

When I checked Quidco today it now says 'received' so should get paid in September. Quickest thing I've ever done through Quidco - less than 2 weeks from applying to them receiving the money. From my experience I would recommend this for an easy £45 profit.
£10 a day challenge for July: Goal £310: £50 so far
Debts June 2009: Around £22,000 (need exact figure for July)

I guess you could try quidco and topcashback. Depends whether they'd suss on the address was the same. You could end up getting no cb and losing £20 on the deal...
  • I've been tempted by this offer on Quidco before, but I wonder what effect (if any) applying to a company like PayDayUK has on your credit score/rating.

    Does anybody know?

I have pretty much 0 credit history (CC and phone contract taken out last month thats it) and am on the electoral roll. Any chance of me being accepted for this?
Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.

Has anybody that has emailed or faxed their ID to paydayuk had their quidco cashback validated or does it never track?

i think theres a high chance that you would be accepted for a small amount like £80 especially as you are on the e/roll. Theres no harm in trying!
