    I would expect that once they get round to your case they will issue you with an acknowledgment of the claim

    It's normally a couple of days.

    There are postal strikes on at the moment and post is taking a few days more than normal to get through in some areas. However, even with that I suspect you should have had it by now.

    I assume you kept a copy of your complaint. You could email them a copy or fax it.

    Just for clarification, you are not complaining straight to FOS are you? They wont deal with complaints if you have not gone through the complaints process with the company first. They will just forward your complaint on in those cases.

    Thats what I thought.

    No not complaining to the FOS straight away.

    Had Nationwide's final repsonse, so now taking it to the FOS.

    I emailed the complaint form to the FOS, along with scanned copies of letters etc. I got an auto email back to state they got it. but still nothing?
